I’m going to sleep train my almost 8 month old finally! Should it just be for nights to begin or do naps and bedtime?

I think it’s up to personal preference or how you think your baby will adapt. I knew my girl would do better if we just did both at once. So our sleep training started at bedtime, and then we continued with every nap the next day and so on.

@kerzz2023,
yeah that’s how I felt! Less confusing. Basically for naps I do a mini version of bedtime routine so it all feels very similar and consistent.

I actually start with naps bc my babies did fine at night and actually nap training made nights even easier so I didn’t even need to train then. I’m not my best, confident/clear headed when I’m tired/at night, so for me, starting with the first nap of the day was best. By night time he knew the deal and could just roll over and sleep.

@kerzz2023,
I’m having the same problem right now! I cardboard up my windows in his room so I know no light is coming in

thanks for the support! She later there for 5 minutes so I added 5 more and she did cry then I went in to settle her and left for 10 and settled and she went to sleep for the rest of the night!!! Woke early at 530 but that’s usual for her bottle. Fingers crossed the next couple days go as smoothly
