I’m having a similar issue, my nipples are darker, but my right side cracked and looks green in the centre :/ I like to think I have very good hygiene so I have no idea why this is happening, my doctor thinks it may be dried colostrum, but I ordered myself some lanolin nipple cream, it hasn’t arrived yet but I’ve had lots of people recommend it to me! Maybe look into it!

I've notice that too. If I'm outside and sweating I feel like I produce more colostrum and it almost looks like tiger stripes on my aerolas... I've been using nipple balm as well.

I had this problem with my first, and now again with my second. Lanolin nipple cream is THE BEST remedy for this! It's made for breastfeeding, so it's totally safe for both mom and baby, and it helps with sensitivity too.
