Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

  • 9:50 p.m. Monday, June 17, South 600W, south of West SR 14, Silver Lake. Driver: Jacob L. Eherenman, 22, West CR 1000S, Akron. Eherenman could not maintain his lane and struck a tree. First responders found him unconscious with life-threatening injuries. Lifesaving measures were provided, and he was airlifted to Lutheran Fort Wayne. Damage up to $50,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

  • 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, Tippecanoe Drive, at the intersection of Nye Street, Warsaw. Driver: Bryan A. Rivera, 27, North CR 175E Lot 166, Warsaw. Rivera’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting a road sign and a Nipsco pole. Damage up to $10,000.
  • 4:21 p.m. Thursday, June 20, SR 15, at the intersection of East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Deborah S. Rosado, 50, North CR 200W, Warsaw; Austin S. Woolett, 27, CR 31, Goshen; and Duane E. Patterson, 69, Fairlane Drive, Warsaw. Rosado’s vehicle rear-ended Woolett’s, which caused Woolett’s vehicle to rear-end Patterson’s. Damage up to $10,000.
  • 3:48 p.m. Thursday, June 20, East US 30, at the intersection of North CR 150W, Warsaw. Drivers: Bin S. Nouman, 24, South Lincoln Avenue, Addison, Ill.; and Tausha A. Kline, 52, North Maple Avenue, Argos. Nouman’s vehicle rear-ended Kline’s. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 10:01 a.m. Thursday, June 20, East Main Street, at the intersection of North Roosevelt Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Peter E. Rayl, 30, Sheridan Street, Warsaw; and Douglas K. Robinson, 72, East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Rayl failed to stop at the East Main Street and North Roosevelt Street intersection, hitting Robinson’s vehicle. A passenger in Rayl’s vehicle, Cassandra Rayl, 34, Warsaw, complained of head pain and was treated by medics at the scene. A second passenger in Peter’s vehicle, Judah Rayl, 3, Warsaw, was taken to Parkview Hospital for a medical evaluation. Damage up to $10,000.
  • 4:34 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, SR 15, north of East Canal Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ricardo I. Anacleto-Melendez, 16, North CR 400W, Warsaw; and Kaden E. Rife, 19, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Anacleto-Melendez was attempting to exit a parking lot and enter SR 15 when he pulled out in front of Rife’s vehicle. The collision caused Anacleto-Melendez’s vehicle to go over a curb and hit the Pizza Hut building. Damage up to $25,000.
  • 4:23 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, SR 15, at the intersection of CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Brooke N. Winchester, 17, EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw; Melody P. Tuggle, 20, South Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw; and Cody R. Scheve, 34, South Circle Drive East, Warsaw. Winchester’s vehicle rear-ended Tuggle’s, resulting in Tuggle’s vehicle rear-ending Scheve’s. A passenger in Tuggle’s vehicle, Naudia D. Schneider, 23, South Daytona, Fla., complained of knee pain and was treated by medics at the scene. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 1140 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Brooklyn I. Wright, 20, Montague Lane, Winona Lake; and Kayla M. Hutton, 23, Truman Road Lot 199, Perrysburg, Ohio. Wright and Hutton were both backing their vehicles from parking spaces when their vehicles collided. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 2:47 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, US 30, west of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Victoria L. Swihart, 75, East CR 650N, Rochester; William J. Lechlitner, 54, East Wilcox Road, Warsaw; Jennie L. James, 68, Kimal Drive, Warsaw; and Ronald S. Graft, 54, Halley View Run, Fort Wayne. Swihart’s vehicle rear-ended Lechlitner’s, James’ vehicle rear-ended Swihart’s, and Graft’s vehicle rear-ended James’. Damage up to $25,000.
  • 2:13 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, SR 15, at the intersection of Kincaide Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Braxton E. Brooks, 20, West CR 200N, Peru; and Warren T. Renner, 72, Ballenshire Lane, Kendallville. Brooks’ vehicle crossed the center line, hitting Renner’s vehicle. Brooks sustained minor cuts on his upper left arm and a slight bump to his head. He was treated by medics at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
  • 12:02 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Olivia Cisne, 24, East Main Street, Silver Lake. A deer hit the right passenger’s side of Cisne’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
  • 7:16 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, US 30 East, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeffrey L. Rankin, 74, Toledo Avenue, Osceola; and Abdulrahman W. Mohamud, 32, East 86th Street, Minneapolis, Minn. Rankin’s vehicle rear-ended Mohamud’s. Damage up to $25,000.
  • 3:17 p.m. Monday, June 17, North SR 15, south of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Caden M. Golden, 21, EMS D12 Lane, Syracuse; and Samuel J. Heck, 42, North Prairie Street, Warsaw. Golden’s vehicle rear-ended Heck’s. Damage up to $5,000.
  • 9:21 a.m. Monday, June 17, East Center Street, at the intersection of North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua Salyer, 34, Jersey Street, Bluffton; and Jackie Harter, 77, Bartol Drive Apartment 2, Warsaw. Salyer ran a red light at the East Center Street and North Harrison Street intersection, hitting Harter’s vehicle. Harter sustained a minor laceration to his forearm. A passenger in Harter’s vehicle, Linda Harter, 74, Warsaw, sustained a bruise to her chest and had a swollen finger. The Harters went to a hospital on their own to be evaluated. Damage up to $25,000.
  • 4 a.m. Sunday, June 16, US 30, at Mile Marker 89, Warsaw. Driver: Tyra L. King, 17, South Adams Street, Monterey. King’s vehicle left the roadway, driving down the middle of the grass median and entering the Tippecanoe River. King sustained injuries to her foot and went to a hospital for evaluation. A passenger in King’s vehicle, Nevaeh F. Mann, 17, North Judson, sustained several fractures, including a broken eye socket and other various injuries. Mann’s mother took her to a hospital for treatment. Damage up to $25,000.
  • 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, East Center Street, at the intersection of South Cleveland Street, Warsaw. Driver: John Wood, 30, East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Wood’s vehicle hit a light pole. He was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital to be treated for drug impairment and was later charged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Damage up to $10,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

  • 4:22 a.m. Thursday, June 20, US 31 and Wabash Road, Rochester. Driver: Jordan L. Owens, 25, Peru. Vehicle went into a ditch.
  • 9:03 p.m. Thursday, June 20, North Old US Hwy 31 and East 550N, Rochester. Driver: Lilly F. Blount, 19, North Judson. Vehicle hit a pole.
