IADS MEMBER | El Corte Inglés collaborated with the Spanish Federation of Food Banks on their “spring collection” food campaign last month to help disadvantaged and food insecure communities! 📢The Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) isa non-profit organization that collaborates with companies and volunteers to recover surplus food in its local communities and redistribute the goods to the needy, avoiding any waste or misuse. 🗑️ ♻️From May 20th to the 26th, The El Corte Inglés group and all of its supermarkets including Hipercor, Supercor and Supercor Express, Sanchez Romero, and the group’s Online Supermarket advertised and fundraised for the food bank’s Spring food campaign, supporting its 54 banks that work tirelessly to provide healthy and quality food to the less fortunate. 🏢In addition to raising donations for the organization, the group also contributed an extra 10% of the total collected donations in essential products from its stores.The collaboration between FESBAL’s 54 food banks and El Corte Inglés further demonstrates the commitment of the Spanish department store chain to being an involved member in its community and giving back. 👏 ⭐Click the link in the comments below to read more! 🖱️
