Excellent all around!! One of my favorite part of my tour of Alaska and highlight of Denali. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everyone seemed to enjoy their job and especially working with beautiful huskies
Lynne A LaFever is the musher contracted by AIE, and she has been under investigation and been issued multiple warnings for dog neglect. She doesn't feed her dogs enough in the off season, this is not how real mushers treat their dogs, she's giving us all a bad name.
If you're going to Alaska and you could only do one excursion / activity. I would recommend this one hands down. This is an experience of a lifetime. To the helicopter ride to Norris Glacier (epic), to meeting the dogs and Trainer. You can really tell the trainer enjoy their job. The dogs well they really want to pull the sleds.... Kind of surprised how much they really really want to be on sled (huskies). It really brings Joy to your heart. And if you're lucky you might get to see some puppies like we did.

If you ever have the opportunity to go, you will NOT be disappointed. This is a bucket list excursion! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. These guys paved the way for my son and I to have one of those days that we will never forget.
This was a highlight of our Alaska vacation. The views from the helicopter were breathtaking. Our pilot was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Shaynee Traska, our musher, was amazing. She was so engaging and taught us so much about sled dogs. It was fascinating to hear about her experiences as an Iditarod finisher! It is clear she loves her dogs and loves sharing her passion with others. The dogs were very sweet and friendly, even though they were excited to run. They even had puppies for everyone to snuggle. We struggled with this excursion because of the price. We decided to splurge and we are so glad we did!
